Prefix/Suffix

I'm confused by the add suffix and prefix fields. I'm only able to add one set of text (not able to add to both fields) and the text I added didn't show up anyway, and then after one attempt of making output files, when I go back to the prefix/suffix fields, I'm not able to add anything anymore.
